How I Linked 5 Clients Directly to Job Roles—And You Can Too

I connected 5 clients last week directly to hiring managers for roles they'd be a good fit for.

This isn't part of my service.

But when a colleague, connection, or former client posts a role, and I see that it might be a great fit for someone I've worked with recently, it only makes sense to connect them.

I love doing this.

It doesn't always work out.

But I build a deep understanding of my clients through our work together, and that means that when we're done, they come to mind often when I see roles that might fit.

The best thing is, we can all do this.

There are so many people suffering through layoffs.

I've seen many posts where people have been laid off even 2x or 3x this year.

So if a colleague or connection of yours posts a role, and you know someone looking for something similar, share it with them. Offer to connect them.

Or if you don't have time - say hey, I know the job poster, feel free to reach out to them and use my name.

Even if that person doesn't get the job, knowing that someone is in their corner is helpful.

Networking effectively and reducing the time between jobs is something we can all support each other with.

And it feels good!
