Elevate Your LinkedIn Presence: Quick Tips for Maximum Impact

Being active on LinkedIn matters. It can help you grow your network and make you more likely to get outreach from recruiters. But most of us don't have time to be consistently posting on LinkedIn, so what's the best way to get results in a shorter timeframe?

1. Follow companies and influencers you like and comment on their posts. Even a 'great article' or 'this is thought provoking because...' can get more eyes on your profile.

If a company or influencer has 1M followers, imagine how many people may be checking out your profile?

2. Comment on friends' and colleagues' posts. Don't just scroll by.

LinkedIn wants you to engage and they will reward you for it by boosting you in the algorithm. A simple 'Congrats!' goes a long way.

3. Connect with people who have similar roles, are like-minded, or are in a role you want to be in. You can follow first and then engage with them ie 'I've enjoyed following you and would love to connect.'

4. Post about what you're doing at work - share your projects and innovations, talk about how you're changing or leading your industry, and help people connect with what you love about your career.

5. Don't overthink it. LinkedIn posts, like any social media posts, will shortly be buried. Every comment or post doesn't have to be earth shattering.

Happy posting and commenting!
