Get the Interview: Clearly Convey your Change Management Leadership
I often work with executives and leaders in change management who have so many balls in the air that it's hard to go back and remember the details of each project - even major, enterprise-wide ones. Save yourself a headache and when a project is completed - or near to complete - jot down answers to these questions:
📌 How was the needed change (gap) identified?
📌 What were the steps of the project or change, broadly?
📌 How did you lead through those steps?
📌 What was the end result for the organization?
📌 What did you learn?
Getting some of these details onto your resume - without being overly wordy - can truly set you apart from other applicants.
Not only does it provide further evidence of your achievements, but it sets apart your leadership style - the 'how' of how you get big changes accomplished.
🎯Want to partner with someone who gets it, gets you, and can help you unlock additional value and get your foot in the door for exciting opportunities?
